Welcome to Highlands Publications, publisher of Modern Contractor Solutions magazine. We are a fully integrated publishing company with a combined 90-plus years of experience in our field. Our team of professionals is capable of helping you with your custom printing projects and corporate marketing strategies, and we are proficient in ad design, as well as complete magazine layout, design, and content.
At Highlands Publications, we take a fresh approach to publishing, as we did with our first project, Modern Contractor Solutions. We feel a magazine should be written to provide the reader with information that truly interests them and affects their day-to-day business. To accomplish this, you must first know and understand your audience. We began our project by actually interviewing the same people we hoped would read our magazine, finding out their likes, dislikes, interests, and needs. A prototype was developed of what we interpreted from our conversations, and Modern Contractor Solutions was born.
Our efforts to create something fresh did not stop there. We sent our prototype back to the pool of potential readers to gauge how close to the mark we really were. It turns out we were pretty close right out of the gate. After a few minor changes, we had the magazine you see today.
It is our belief that to continue connecting with our audience, we must speak to them on a regular basis. We do our best to contact each reader as they subscribe to our magazine, even though it is increasingly difficult as the numbers continue to rise. Listening to your audience is the only way to ensure you are delivering a product that they will continue to support and benefit from, and our sincere promise is that we will maintain that founding philosophy now and in the future.
