In today’s demanding economic environment, now more than ever, contractors must adapt to survive. In 2008, Curbroller Mfg. introduced a machine that would change the way contractors pour curb and gutter. The idea was simple; reduce the labor, time, and overall costs involved in pouring curb and gutter. The machine should meet the needs of contractors of all sizes, from the four-man crew, all the way up to companies with crews all over the United States. The machine also needed to have the durability to handle the daily wear and tear received on any construction site. It must accomplish all this, while still being affordable to every contractor.

MEET THE CURBROLLER
The Curbroller was designed, tested, and perfected, by contractors for contractors. Drawing from its simple design, the Curbroller has met and surpassed all requirements. It gives contractors a competitive edge on every job that requires curb and gutter. Whereas most contractors normally sub out curb work, they now have the ability to perform the work “in house.” This gives them greater control over the job scheduling, input costs, and quality of the finished product. The increased production goes directly to the bottom line on every job. This enables you to perform a broader range of work, without increasing overhead costs.
The Curbroller is simple to operate, and requires very little training. This helps diversify your labor force, while insuring a high-quality product. The day’s work no longer needs to be scheduled around a few highly skilled “curb guys.” It gives the typical crew the capability to increase their linear foot production by 50 to 100 percent per day. The Curbroller eliminates the backbreaking finish work, which helps reduce costly workers’ compensation claims. The machine is operated from an upright standing position using the body weight of the operator to do the pulling. Weighing in at just 160 pounds, the Curbroller can be easily lifted by two men eliminating the need for larger, more costly equipment.

The guide ring on the “neck” of the drum runs along the back form keeping the machine true to the curb profile.
The Curbroller is designed to run from any available hydraulic power source. It spins in the opposite direction that it is being pulled, bringing up the ‘’fines” and pushing down the rocks. This spinning motion is also what does the shaping of the curb. The guide ring on the “neck” of the drum runs along the back form keeping the machine true to the curb profile. This consistent accuracy gives contractors the precision to pour curb on jobs with minimal grade allowed for drainage. The machine also requires very little maintenance, and is easy to clean and store when not in use.
RELIABLE AND EFFICIENT
With its unique design, the Curbroller is quickly gaining a reputation for reliability, and simple efficiency. From the rugged, powder-coated frame, to the all-steel drum, the machine is built to last. Curbrollers are all proudly produced in a manufacturing facility in northeast Kansas. Every machine is backed by a complete 3-year manufacturer’s warranty. Its innovative design also incorporates many parts that are readily available all across the United States. In the event of a breakdown, this cuts the “downtime” and keeps the job on schedule. With thousands of different curb styles across the country, the Curbroller can easily adapt to produce virtually any shape of curb. One drum style can easily be changed for another, eliminating the need to purchase a full machine for a different curb style.
