In 2010, Company Wrench established C.W. Machine Worx Ltd., its manufacturing division. The first machine designed and patented by C.W. Machine Worx was a Dust Destroyer dust suppression machine, used for demolition site dust control in landfills, quarries, and port facilities. In 2013, the company introduced its Hi-pressure Air Water Cannon, the HAWC, to the international market. The HAWC/Dust Destroyer is the only portable, self- contained, diesel-powered dust suppression package in the industry. Not only does it put out the most gallons of water per minute (gpm) of any dust suppression machine on the market, it also dominates the market in terms of effectiveness in material retention, odor control, irrigation, evaporation, and coverage cap applications. The versatility of this machine puts it in high demand in a wide variety of market segments.
The portability of the self-contained HAWC/Dust Destroyer on a 20-foot trailer can help solve your daily dust control issues. In addition to meeting the needs in landfill applications, it also is an ideal choice for marathons, outdoor sporting events, training facilities for football and other sports, even rock concerts have been ideal places for its misting capabilities. In 2014, the company began worldwide distribution with its partnership with Magnum Australia and is currently gaining more American and international distributors.
HAWC/DUST DESTROYER-300-80-D
CW Machine Worx HAWC/Dust Destroyer is a multi-patented, diesel, self-contained dust suppression system. The unit is powered by a Yanmar 80 hp Tier 3 diesel engine with a self-contained 55-gallon diesel fuel storage tank. It has full 360-degree rotation with manual 10-degree incremental range settings. Also, a hydraulic 35-degree elevation range on the fan tunnel allows for maximum launch of the fine water molecules. The unit has a manual clutch, but can be ordered with a fully automatic electric over hydraulic powered clutch PTO. It comes equipped with a central semi-automatic lube system. The HAWC puts out 37,500 cfm of air with the 42 hp fan. Water throw is up to 300+ feet with the assistance of a 150 psi booster pump and can be increased with existing wind direction.
Water usage ranges from 25 gpm up to 140 gpm and there is a 1,000-foot line of site remote control available. The unit can be mounted on a 20-foot trailer for portability and the addition of chemical tanks assist in odor control or other industry needs.
HAWC/DUST DESTROYER-250-65-D
CW Machine Worx HAWC/Dust Destroyer- 250-65-D is a multi-patented diesel self-contained dust suppression system powered by a Cummins 65 hp Tier 4 diesel engine with a self-contained 50-gallon diesel fuel storage tank. It has full 360-degree rotation capability with electronically controlled incremental rotation range settings. Also, a hydraulic 35-degree elevation range on the fan tunnel allows for maximum launch of the fine water molecules. The unit has an automatic electric over hydraulic clutch PTO. It comes equipped with a central semi-automatic lube system. The HAWC 250-65-D puts out 30,000 cfm of air with the 42 hp fan. Water throw is up to 250+ feet with the assistance of a 150 psi booster pump and can be increased with existing wind direction. Water usage ranges from 20 gpm up to 60 gpm and there is a 1,000-foot line of site remote control available. The unit can be mounted on a 20-foot trailer for portability and the addition of chemical tanks assist in odor control or other industry needs.
DUST DEMOLISHER
In February 2016, CW Machine Worx, Ltd. proudly announced the launch of its newest Dust Suppression equipment product offering. Taking its roots from the multi patented, self-contained HAWC/Dust Destroyer diesel products, the Dust Demolisher electric units will be more than adequate to support multiple industries and market segments in controlling dust, irrigation, odor control, evaporation, and material retention.
The Dust Demolisher Electric product line has two models available: The DE200-480V-E and DE150-480V-E. Both electric products are mounted on a 4-way metal base to give them ample support for any application. They can be mounted on a trailer for portability or on permanent pedestals.
The DE200-480V-E allows 18,800+ cfm of air to flow through the cone while generating 8,100 feet per minute of air velocity. Powered by 20 hp and 13 hp electric motors for the fan and booster pump, this unit has a water mist throw range of 200+ feet. It has oscillating capabilities of 30–330 degrees and elevation capabilities of -10 degrees to +45 degrees. The water mist can cover up to 125,000 square feet depending on wind direction and oscillation selection.
The DE150-480V-E allows 17,000+ cfm of air to flow through the cone while generating 7,400 feet per minute of air velocity. Powered by 15 hp and 11 hp electric motors for the fan and booster pump, this unit has a water mist throw range of 150+ feet. It has oscillating capabilities of 30–330 degrees and elevation capabilities of -10 degrees to +45 degrees. The water mist can cover up to 70,700 square feet depending on wind direction and oscillation selection.
For portability, both of these units can be mounted on a combo unit frame with a 1,000-gallon polypropylene tank for remote water supply and also have a 70Kva (DE200) or 45Kva (DE150) gen set included as a power source. This entire framed system can be mounted on a 20-foot dual axle trailer. ■
