Power Gripz

With construction jobsites swinging into high gear, the importance of having durable hand gloves takes center stage. In a recent conversation with the team at The Power Gripz, we found out what they have available and what’s new to the industry.
How is business for The Power Gripz?
In a word … powerful. The Power Gripz has been gripping the industry since the hard launch in 2013. We are honored by how The Power Gripz has been embraced. End users from a variety of industries have found that The Power Gripz is a tremendous solution for many of the day-to-day challenges faced on the job. Each day, more and more teams are adding The Power Gripz to their tool list, and we won’t stop until we put a pair of The Power Gripz on every hard working hand.
What has influenced The Power Gripz and its product offerings?
Originally, we set out to develop a superior leather protector—in order to meet the growing and consistent concerns about existing leather protectors. The gloves just didn’t provide the grip they needed to perform daily tasks from grabbing tools to keeping a hold on them. We searched for what must be a better answer to this challenge and found there wasn’t one—so The Power Gripz was developed.
Logically, we realized that not only could the Utility market benefit from The Power Gripz proprietary grip but any pads and design. The industry depends on ultimate protection, maximum comfort, and enhanced safety in the gloves they wear. As a result of our R&D team and feedback from end users, The Power Gripz offers a complete line of work gloves … from our basic unlined to cozy and comfortable Thinsulate-lined to KEVLAR Category A4 CUT RESISTANT and, of course, the FWR/CUT RESISTANT WORK GLOVE (fire water and cut resistant).
What benefit does The Power Gripz offer contractors?
The Power Gripz Work Glove Series includes many options that will help meet the challenges of any job. The all-leather series offers naturally abrasive resistant leather work gloves in Unlined, Kevlar-lined (ANSI/ISEA 105-2016-A4 cut resistant), and Thinsulate-lined. All of the leather work gloves are 40cal/CM2 and are stitched with Kevlar thread for strength. The entire line of all leather work gloves feature a leather gauntlet and can be ordered with an additional Kevlar or knit cuff to keep debris from falling into the glove. The Power Gripz proprietary grip pads and palms help keep hold of tools and help to keep drop zones safer. The durable yet flexible leather provides unparalleled hand protection without compromising dexterity.
Are there new offerings from The Power Gripz?
We launched the FIRE WATER AND CUT RESISTANT work gloves in late 4th quarter 2016. This insulated work glove is made of the finest materials available and is designed to provide FR protection, as well as durability and comfort in all weather conditions. Arc Rated, Flame Resistant, Water Resistant and Cut Resistant (ANSI/ISEA 105-2016 Classification A4; ASTM F 2992-15), and ANSI/ISEA Section 5.1.2 puncture category Level 3.
And, for 2017, the Mechanic Style work gloves are being added to The Power Gripz line of work gloves. These mechanic style gloves fit close to the hand. The Power Gripz Mechanic Style work gloves keep your hands protected while providing the utmost dexterity for maximum comfort and productivity. The Power Gripz Mechanic Style work gloves are available from the basic to the cut resistant and FR qualities.
Closing thoughts?
The Power Gripz has you covered when it comes to work gloves—there is something for every job and for every preference. So, no matter what your hand protection needs, The Power Gripz has the perfect fit. ■
